Stock trading requires a brokerage account, a specific type of account designed to hold investments. If you don’t have an account yet, you can open one with an online broker in a few minutes.

No, you can’t. Macro Ops is a global macro research and consulting firm. We provide subscribers with pertinent macro research and education through the Macro Ops Collective. We are not financial advisors and we are not a licensed brokerage company.

Yes, all trades involve a brokerage firm even if a stockbroker is not used to help with the trade.

  1. Go to the “Your Account” section.
  2. Click the “Billing history” link under the “Billing” section.
  3. You’ll be able to view your billing history, and for each transaction, there is a link to the corresponding invoice, which is also available for download as a PDF.

If you don’t see this function,  you’re using a special or legacy account. Please email us your information at support@macro-ops.com, and we’ll send you the invoice within 24 to 48 hours.

  1. Go to the “Your Account” section.
  2. Click the ‘Join new plan’ or ‘Change plan’ button under the ‘Plans’ section.
  3. Select a new plan from the dropdown and then choose your payment details.

If you have a special or legacy plan, (Ex: MO Migration Access), please contact support@macro-ops.com as your previous subscription will not be automatically canceled when changing plans.

Foundation Alpha LLC (Macro Ops) delivers time-sensitive, proprietary training and education, and thus a strict “no refund” policy is in place. Unfulfilled payment plans will not be refunded and access to products will be removed immediately after a delinquent payment. If you wish to stop your subscription service, please email support@macro-ops.com and cancel prior to your renewal date to avoid renewing. Cancelling on/after the renewal date is considered a late cancellation and does not constitute a refund.

  1. Go to the “Your Account” section.
  2. Click the ‘Billing details’ link under ‘Billing’
  3. Click the ‘Cancel subscription’ link under the plan you want to cancel

However, if you have the “MO Migration Access” plan, please contact support@macro-ops.com with your request specifying your name and the email you used to make the purchase.

That link only works to manage whether or not you want to receive our emails in your inbox and is completely independent of the paid subscription. To cancel your paid subscription, please follow the instructions in the section “How can I cancel my subscription?”

About Email Issues

I’ve signed up to one of your emails, but I’m not receiving it.

The first step is to ensure the emails are not going to spam or promotions. We recommend adding the following email addresses to your address book so you don’t miss anything.

support@macro-ops.com

alex@macro-ops.com

brandon@macro-ops.com

Do you use Hotmail or Yahoo webmail? If so, they are probably automatically sending our emails to your junk mail folder because they see they are sent to multiple addresses and assume they are spam.

Do you work for a company that filters or censors your mail? If so, they may have identified our emails as non-business-related and quarantined or deleted them. You might consider having a word with your IT administrator or setting up a web-based account.

Have you set up a spam filter yourself? Some of these will delete our emails.

If none of these applyclick here to contact the User Support team and ask us to check that you really are on the list.

We will automatically unsubscribe you if our emails to you bounce back several days running. This is usually because your account has been cut off, your inbox is full, you haven’t checked your email for a while, your server has been down for a long time, or it has been set to reject emails from us. If you still don’t know why you were unsubscribed, click here to contact the Support team; we may be able to find out.

About The Comm Center

How Do I Log Into The Comm Center?

The Comm Center is our private Slack group where all our members communicate daily and learn by sharing their ideas.

This is a key part of the Collective. It’s important you take advantage of it!

Community is crucial when tackling something as difficult as the market. And nothing comes close to the community we’ve built within the Collective.

To join the Slack workspace that hosts the Comm Center, you’ll need a separate account with Slack.

Please click here and follow the instructions to set that up.

Note: The Comm Center is hosted in Slack, an independent service. You need to create a Slack account to gain access. Please use your personal email address when signing up in Slack. You don´t need a @macro-ops.com email.

We have members from all around the world with all levels of experience — from recent college grads, to a few famous billionaire Market Wizards, and everything in between.

The one common trait we all share is that we deeply love this game and are committed to getting better at it. So introduce yourself and engage in the conversation.

The only rule we have is that all conversations remain respectful. Challenging others’ ideas is welcome but please do so with tact and humility!

First, let’s edit your profile so you can introduce yourself to the team:

  • Click the default profile picture in the top right of Slack

  • Click Profile from the menu, and then click Edit profile.

  • Let people know what you do and add a profile photo.

  • Click Save Changes.

Now it’s time to say hello!

On the sidebar you’ll see a list of channels, your direct messages, notifications for specific conversations, and the option to compose new messages.

Click on #general to introduce yourself.

Let us know your name, what you do, your favorite asset to trade, and what you want to improve in your trading process.

Here’s a brief summary of our most active channels:

  • #general: This is for announcements and shooting the shit in general.

  • #news: Most news is noise. This is where our members post the few stories that matter.

  • #mo_trade_updates: This is our trade alert channel. Only MO team members are allowed to post here. All questions/comments on trades should go into their respective channels.

  • #classical-charting: Here’s where we apply classical charting principles to a global universe of equities, forex and futures markets.

  • #ideas-equities: See a trade triggering? Got an idea? Post it here.

  • #podcasts: Post your favorite podcasts in this channel.

  • #research: If you’re looking for the latest BofA fund manager survey or Goldman’s take on the market, this is your spot.

These are just a few of the many channels in the Comm Center. So make sure to look around.

And if you’re looking for something specific, you can use the search bar located at the top:
