Market SitRep – China’s Reckoning

China Devaluation & Shorting Apple

Alex here,

When I served as a Marine Scout Sniper, before any mission or exercise we would receive something called a Situation Report or “SitRep” for short. This briefing was meant to prepare us for a coming operation. It’d cover all conceivable risks and go over our plan of action in detail; how to act, and how to react to a range of possibilities. The SitRep was critical intel that my team needed to increase our odds of staying alive… and to increase our effectiveness at pulverising the enemy.

I’m excited to announce that today we’re rolling out our very first situation report for financial markets. The Market SitRep will prepare you for the week ahead as you go to battle in the capital markets. Our intent is to help give you an awareness of your environment that is critical to not just surviving… but thriving in these markets.

This isn’t your typical newsletter either. You know, the one that’s 4-6 pages long, with a wall of text on a white page. Those stale publications are now a relic of the 90’s….

This is a video newsletter. Filmed with an HD camera and professionally produced. This is absolutely the most engaging and entertaining way to digest the market intel that matters.

Each week we’ll cover three broad topic areas that align with how we approach markets:

  • Macro Conditions
  • Micro Fundamentals / Individual Equity Names
  • Technicals and Charts

And we won’t stop there. As we evolve, the Market SitRep will touch on geopolitics, trading/investing philosophy, trade management techniques, psychology, and much more.

Without further adieu, check out the the Market SitRep below and let us know your thoughts!
